| As an author, I’ve learned that the true beauty of my stories remain hidden until I’m willing to rework and refine my first drafts—always multiple times. Author Agatha Christie did that too; she meticulously plotted and replotted her iconic murder mysteries until they became her masterpieces. Each of us, on a personal level, are like that too. The masterpieces we—you—are becoming may not be fully visible yet, but they’re there. I know that. True, I don’t always remember that fact; I too often berate my ongoing, ever-present mistakes and flaws. But in the end, I know that we, with patience, dedication, and a willingness to edit our own lives, will find that hidden brilliance inside each of us. Trust the process. We truly are masterpieces in the making. |
